IRIOMOTE＊Cave＆Canyoning＆ Barasu Is. Snorkeling

Summer only, May through October! This special course was created in response to requests from customers who simply wanted to get in the water and have fun! This highly recommended, super-fun course features three activities: canyoning with lots of diving in the river, exploring an untouched cave, and snorkeling on a beautiful island made of coral fragments! This course involves a little trekking, so it's a little easier than other set courses. In the afternoon, you'll travel by boat to Barasu Island, an island made of coral fragments, and its surrounding areas for snorkeling. *Please note that the combination of morning and afternoon activities (cave & canyoning and Barasu Island snorkeling) may change depending on the day's tour availability, crowding, weather, etc. *Barasu Island is constantly changing shape due to strong waves and winds caused by typhoons, etc., and does not always maintain a large enough shape to land on. In recent years, Barasu Island has become so small that you can only land on the island to take photos. Please note that on some days, you may only be able to land at low tide. -------------------------------------------- The set price shown includes the Cave & Canyoning & Barasu Island Snorkeling (¥16,000 for adults / ¥14,000 for children) and the Uehara round-trip boat ticket option. *The boat ticket option can be removed. Automatic cancellation: The tour will be canceled by us without further notice if you fail to complete a required action. Cancellation fee: A fee will be charged as a result of the cancellation. • Requirements

  • Age: Over 5 years

• What to Bring

  • What to bring: Please bring a towel and a change of clothes. Sunscreen, sunglasses (especially in summer)
  • Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet or dirty. Please wear long sleeves and long pants made of light, dry material.
  • If you are wearing short sleeves and shorts, wear a light jacket, spats, or trainers to avoid exposing as much skin as possible.
  • You can swim in the waterfall basin in the summer and on warmer days. Please wear a swimsuit under your clothes.

  • Cave＆Canyoning＆ Barasu Is. Snorkeling (Adult 16,000 yen / Child 14,000 yen) with Uehara round-trip boat ticket option is shown as a set price.
  • Tours are available for one person or more, and tours will be held for two or more participants.
  • バラス島は台風等の強い波や風により常に形が変わる島で、いつも必ず上陸出来る様な大きい形状を維持している島ではございません。
  • ここ数年はバラス島がとても小さい為、島に上陸して写真撮影のみになります。
  • 場合によっては干潮時しか上陸出来ない日がございますのでご了承下さい。
  • When Uehara Port is cancelled due to the weather conditions, the schedule will be changed.
  • 上原航路のフェリーが欠航する様な海のシケの場合にシュノーケルツアーが中止になります。
  • シュノーケルツアーが中止の場合は代替のコース又半日のみのコースとさせて頂きます。なおツアー料金は行えたツアー料金のみとなります。
  • また、代替コースへの変更を理由にお客様ご自身の判断でキャンセルされる場合は、所定のキャンセル料が発生いたしますので予めご了承ください。
  • If you require a special lunch (e.g. due to food allergies or a vegetarian diet), please kindly bring your own meal. In that case, the cost of the lunch will be deducted from the tour fee.
