Half Day Kayaking and Trekking to Pinaisara Waterfall（Includes ferry ticket）
We will aim for the base of Pinaisara Fall, which boasts the largest drop in Okinawa, by river kayaking and trekking (on foot). This is ideal for families with children or those looking to fit in a half-day plan. We will kayak along the Hinai River through the mangrove forest and trek through the forest where the Sakishima Suou tree stands. (Adult 11,000 yen/Child 9,000 yen) rates are shown with the Uehara round-trip boat ticket option as a set price. 【Important Information】 Tour tickets must be collected by a day before(17:00 Japan Time) your booked tour date. Automatic cancellation: The tour will be canceled by us without further notice if you fail to complete a required action. Cancellation fee: A fee will be charged as a result of the cancellation. If there are any changes to the ferry schedules, we will contact you by 17:00 the day before. It is very important for us to be able to reach you via email or mobile phone.(WhatsApp preferred) ★Please read before making a reservation.★ Iriomote Island will be designated as a World Natural Heritage site in 2021, and from March 2025, from the viewpoint of further nature conservation, it will be necessary to obtain entry approval from the system operated by Taketomi Town, which has been certified by the government, in order to participate in the tour to Pinaisara Falls and Nishida Falls (Sangara Falls). Please fill out the necessary information for the application at the time of reservation. After making a reservation at Hirata Kanko, the activity organizer will apply to Taketomi Town on your behalf. ※*It may take some time for approval to Taketomi Town. What to Bring
- What to bring: Please bring a towel and a change of clothes. Sunscreen, sunglasses (especially in summer)
- Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that can get wet or dirty. Please wear long sleeves and long pants made of light, dry material.
- If you are wearing short sleeves and shorts, wear a light jacket, spats, or trainers to avoid exposing as much skin as possible.
- You can swim in the waterfall basin in the summer and on warmer days. Please wear a swimsuit under your clothes.

- Pinaisara Falls Half-Day (Waterfall Pool) (Adult 11,000 yen / Child 9,000 yen) with optional round-trip boat ticket to Uehara is shown as a set price.
- ※If you do not need a round trip-ferry ticket, please let us know in advance. We can exclude the ticket for you.(The ferry ticket price will be subtracted.)
- Tours are available for one person or more, and tours will be held for two or more participants.

- We do not provide hotel pick-up service, so please use a rental car or cab to Ishigaki Port Terminal and come by yourself.

Little adventure in a magnificent and Luxurious nature
You can enjoy a leisurely canoe trip through the mangrove before walking 20 minutes toward the 50 meters Pinaisara fall and swim a bit in the pool at the bottom of the fall. Then it is lunch time and return to Uehara. The guide will explain along the way a few things about the nature around the path. I joined a group of friendly people which also contributed to make this tour a wonderful tour.

12 Oct 2023 Pinaisara Waterfall and Barasu Tour - Hirata Kanko
It was a customized full-day tour that includes kayaking, trekking to the base of the waterfall and snorkeling. Unfortunately because of weather conditions, the snorkeling part was cancelled. We were staying in Ishigaki and was set to go to Iriomote by ferry. The ferry heading to the Uehara port got canceled so we had to take another ferry heading to the Ohara port and get on the bus that takes us to the original meeting point. With all the uncertainty, I appreciate that the company provided instructions and take care of the contingency arrangement so we can still enjoy the tour. During the tour, the guide was very professional and ensured our safety while we're having fun. At the end of the tour, he even drove us everywhere to find food because many restaurants are closed! Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would recommend everyone book tours from Hirata Kanko.

It was a lovely trip, we had a great young guide, a very kind lady who made us appreciate kayaking in the mangrove river, walking in the forest and discover beautiful plants and animals. We swam in an impressive pond under a huge waterfall, surrounded by the rainbow effects of the powdered water spread all around us by the waterfall. I highly recommend this trip.
